The last few outstanding games have now been played and the Grimsby & District Indoor Bowls League Season came to a
fitting end on Tuesday 9 April with the leagues presentation evening, which included the fifth Champion of Champions Trophy Competition.
League winners this season were Gunners, who won Leagues A, D and E, Breakers in League B, Rem Raiders in League C,
Nomads in League F and DJC in League G.
The Champion of Champions games were played in a shortened format; Gunners have always won the overall champions trophy in
the past but this season they crashed out in the first round. The eventual winners were Casuals, the runners-up from League H, who triumphed over
West End in the final.
Many thanks to all who attended, making the evening a successful one both socially and competitively.
